My Review:
Christmas is suppose to be a joyous time with our Father. You add family to the mix and its not long before we get so caught up in the worldly view of Christmas that God gets put on the back burner. I loved the introduction to the book that the author wrote about her childhood and how Christmas was in her family. I love it when an author shares personal stories.

She said that Advent is a time spent worshiping God. Not checking Him off your list or trying to do one more thing for Him but spending time in worship. The names of Jesus are many and the author unwraps them day by day and one by one until Christmas day. Challenging us each step of the way to give God the praise that He so deserves not just now but every day.

Christmas to me is a really good time to slow down and embrace the quiet stillness that surrounds us. In that stillness we can meet God there and share our praises with Him. He has our hearts but He wants our daily lives and our dedication, too. This time of the year is a great time to explore this side of ourselves as well as that side of Jesus.

This book is great as a gift, as well. The names of Jesus is a fantastic subject to explore and learn more about. I plan on giving my copy away for a Christmas gift along with some hot tea. A great gift sized book. A beautiful sentiment this holiday season.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own.
