Review: For Love & Honor by:Jody Hedlund

For Love and Honor (An Uncertain Choice, #3)
About the Book:
Lady Sabine is harboring a skin blemish, one, that if revealed, could cause her to be branded as a witch, put her life in danger, and damage her chances of making a good marriage. After all, what nobleman would want to marry a woman so flawed?

Sir Bennet is returning home to protect his family from an imminent attack by neighboring lords who seek repayment of debts. Without fortune or means to pay those debts, Sir Bennet realizes his only option is to make a marriage match with a wealthy noblewoman. As a man of honor, he loathes the idea of courting a woman for her money, but with time running out for his family’s safety, what other choice does he have?

As Lady Sabine and Sir Bennet are thrust together under dangerous circumstances, will they both be able to learn to trust each other enough to share their deepest secrets? Or will those secrets ultimately lead to their demise?

My Review:
Okay, first of all love, love, love Jody Hedlund's latest, For Love & Honor. Great read! The Victorian Era with all its pomp and circumstance really had some shady stuff going on behind closed doors. Lady Sabine is one for keeping to herself because of a birthmark that won't be too highly favored. Because of this she doubts she will get married to any one with any prestige behind their name. So she is forever blemished and resigned to the fact that she will never marry.

Like most "arranged" marriage Sir Bennet is dreading it but he has to make this political move to save his family. So Sir Bennet and Lady Sabine are put together under the wrong set of circumstances but is it mildly possibly that their matrimony can changed to look like more of the love that God intended?

This book will take you on a trip into a fairy tale type story. It was a great fantasy type read!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own.
